Subject:
Discussion and possible action to accept the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) - Community Needs Assessment (CNA) required by Assurance #11 of Section 676 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), and in accordance with Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Title 10 Part 1, Chapter 6, Subchapter B, Rule 6.206. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund.
Issue: TDHCA requires Community Action Agency (WCCAA) submit a CNA every three (3) years in accordance with Assurance #11 of Section 676 of the CSBG Act and with TAC §6.206, as a condition to receive CSBG funding.
Solution: The WCCAA Director and staff prepared and submitted the 2024 Community Services Block Grant -Community Needs Assessment to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
Result: The 2024 CNA submitted by WCCAA to TDHCA has been reviewed by Department staff and deemed to be acceptable.
