Discussion and possible action to renew the Car Dealer Subcontractor Contracts for: 1. Powatoy-Toyota of Laredo, 2. Powel Watson Motors, 3. Sames Automotive Inc.-Honda, 4. Sames Imports-KIA, 5. Sames Laredo Chevrolet, 6. Sames Motors, and 7. Sames Nissan Laredo, on behalf of the Webb County Tax Assessor-Collector in the issuance of motor vehicle registration license validation stickers and license plates, including the application for vehicle titles and any other matters incident thereto; and authorizing the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents. There will be no impact to the General Fund.
 
Issue: The state motor vehicle department requires that we have a contract with all subcontractors and all franchise motor vehicle dealers.
 
Solution: Commissioners court authorization to renew contracts
 
Result: To be in compliance with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicle requirements.
