Discussion and possible action to authorize the increase in change fund for the Webb County Tax Office for the amount of $5,000.00 as per Local Government Code 130.902 and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Currently the teller boxes daily starting box is for $200, making the tellers request for change several times throughout our busiest times of the day and having to go to the bank in several occasions as well.

Solution: We would like for the Commissioner to approve the increase of the change fund for our department in order to increase teller boxes from $200 to $300 and to be able to request adequate change from our financial institution every morning without having to disrupt our work flow throughout our busiest days.

Result: Authorization of a change fund increase will alow our department to have the necessary currencies on hand to issue to our tellers when neeed when payments are taken in cash, and ability to create new teller boxes.
