Discussion and possible action to approve a contract between Webb County and Willo Products Company (State of Utah Cooperative Contract #MA3503) for the retrofitting of 109 Jail Cell doors, controls and related components to include required performance and payment bonds for an amount not to exceed $1,298,668.00 and to further authorize General Counsel to prepare a contract for the awarded services and contract sum and any other matters incident thereto. [ARPA Revenue Replacement Fund and/or General Fund Sheriff's Jail Administration - Capital Outlay Account; Account #1001-4070-001-470000]  

Issue: The Webb County Jail's cell block doors are outdated and require upgrades to include the controls. Scope of work includes but not limited to the retrofit of sliding door devices and controls for approximately 104 cell doors that reflect 8 cells per block x 13 cell blocks.  Corridor doors and related components are also included in the upgrade. 

Solution: Consideration to approve the cooperative price proposal from Willo Products Co., two cooperative price proposals were secured for this project.  It is the recommendation from Jail Management and the Purchasing Agent to award project to Willo Products Company, best value price proposal. 

Result: If approved, General Counsel will prepare the contract for Webb County Commissioners Court final approval before execution.
