Discussion and possible action to approve an additive Change Order No. 1 to JMJ Constructors in the total amount of $70,000.00 for ARPA Project No. 0001-Webb County Regional Rio Bravo Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades; and have the County Judge sign any relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2703-5205-001-474501-103 (Construction in Progress-Rio Bravo WW Treatment Upgrades)] 

Issue: JMJ performed an assessment of the Hydropneumatic tank on July 18, 2024. JMJ was instructed to perform an assessment and recommend rehabilitation to restore the tank to working order. Also, as per the manufacturer's recommendation, the decanter Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) will be moved from the electrical room to the top of the Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR). VFD Relocation (Additive)-$25,000.00 and Tank Rehabilitation (Additive)-$45,000.00
 
Solution: The intent is to use part of the project contingency allowance to fund the tank rehabilitation.
 
Result: To reduce the length of the VFD cables and improve response accuracy and to restore the Hydropneumatic tank.
