Discussion and possible action to end negotiations and rescind the award to the highest ranking respondent, Cavazos & Associates Architects, and to further rescind acceptance of all rankings for RFQ 2024-014 “Architectural Services for Renovations to Road & Bridge, Planning and Engineering Facility” and any other matters incident thereto.
 
Issue: On September 9, 2024, Cavazos & Associates Architects PLLC was awarded these professional services.  It was determined that these services would no longer be necessary due to spacing issues that would only be adequate for a couple of county departments.  No modifications to the building will be required. 
 
Solution: Rescind the award to Cavazos & Associates Architects PLLC, rankings and any other action associated with this public solicitation.
 
Result: All negotiations with the selected firm will end, a formal written notification of final court action will be provided to the firm for their records.
