Discussion and possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to develop and submit a 2025-2035 Webb County Recreation Master Plan for submission to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for their approval and authorize the Webb County Judge to appoint a Planning Committee to oversee the development of this plan.
 
Issue: The existing Webb County Recreational Plan is from 2015-2025 and needs to be updated/replaced.
 
Solution: Appoint a working/Planning Committee of appropriate size to work in conjunction with the Economic Development staff, oversee progress and provide direction and input into the development process.
 
Result: To develop a plan to be adopted by the County and submitted to the State for their approval. A state approved plan will give future project applications additional scoring points.
