Discussion and possible action to approve Contract Amendment #4 to accept an additional FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($400,000.00) in CDBG – Cares Act Funding, and approve a contract extension until December 31, 2025, and a budget modification to move existing funds from Professional Services to Construction for the Webb County Southern Health Facility Project (Contract #70800001013) under the Texas Department Community Affairs (TDHCA) and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
Issue: The funding agency (TDHCA) requested a contract amendment to include an additional award of $400,000.00 in CDBG Cares Act funding, a time extension and a budget modification moving funds from Professional Services to Construction.
Solution: The County accepts and signs this amendment.
Result: Webb County is able to continue administering this grant, which will result in the completion of the Webb County Southern Health Facility.
