Discussion and possible action to approve a Consulting Agreement with Management Advisory Group International Inc. (“Consultant”) who will undertake a Wage and Classification Study to ensure an equitable and competitive salary structure for Webb County employees with said services to be compensated in the amount not to exceed SEVENTY NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($79,400.00) with a time frame to complete the study within One Hundred Twenty Calendar Days from the date of the Issuance of the “Notice to Proceed”, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents; and any matters incident thereto. Issue: At the meeting of December 9, 2024, the Commissioners Court directed the Purchasing Agent to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a consultant to review the County’s Employee Classification and Wage Study and provide the Commissioners Court a comprehensive analysis and recommendations of current job classifications and wages to paid to county employees.
 
Solution: At the meeting of May 5, 2024, the commissioners court awarded RFQ 2025-007 “Webb County Wage and Classification Study” to Management Advisory Group International, Inc.
 
Result: Webb County will have an equitable and competitive salary schedule for its employees.
