Discussion and possible action to award Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2025-015 "Demolition of Webb County Properties" to the lowest responsible bidder for the complete demolition and site clearance of three (3) county-owned residential properties located at 920 Houston Street and 918 Houston Street to include but not limited to the complete removal and disposal of properties identified.  The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, and supervision required to perform the scope of work in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Sub-Chapter C. (Competitive Bidding in General), Section 262.021 (County Purchasing Act), and to further authorize General Counsel to prepare the contract for the awarded sum(s) and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: On April 14, 2025, the Commissioners Court authorized the demolition of the County-owned dilapidated building structures located at 918 and 920 Houston Street.
 
Solution: Formal sealed bids were secured for consideration by the Webb County Commissioners Court to award to the lowest responsible bidder. 
 
Result: If approved, General Counsel will prepare the contract for the awarded services for the bid amount(s) submitted by the selected bidder providing the lowest qualified bid.
