Discussion and possible action to purchase 2 new vehicles and include them in the Webb County District Attorney's Office fleet. (1) 2026 Chevrolet Silverado, (1) 2026 Tahoe not to exceed $120,790. Vehicles will be purchased from SAMES Chevrolet under TIPS contract No. 240901. Operational expenses will be covered by grant funds and any other matters incident thereto. [Fund #2739-2260-001-470000]
Issue: Grants were awarded for the purchase of (2) vehicles.
Solution: Authorize the purchase of capital equipment utilizing the Webb County District Attorney’s Office BPU funds. Operational expenses for fuel and maintenance will be covered by general funds.
Result: The District Attorney’s Office will add 2 new vehicles to their fleet.
