Discussion and possible action to approve the ratification of an exception for a one-time credit card charge not to exceed $1,090.00 for the conference fees for two Planning employees for the Texas On-site Wastewater Association (TOWA) 33^rd Annual Conference, utilizing the Webb County credit card, and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Planning personnel are required to maintain active licenses for wastewater facility licensing. The available continuing education conference requires a credit card in order to register for the classes and reserve the slot.  Limited availability made it necessary to use the County credit card as soon as possible to secure two slots.
 
Solution: Authorize an exception to the current rule limiting the use of the County credit card to air-fare related expenditures, allowing its use for the TOWA registration fees.
 
Result: The County credit card will be used for this one-time purchase.
