Discussion and possible action to approve the carryover of remaining grant funds in the budget from the previous fiscal year to the current fiscal year of Five Hundred Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-One Dollars and Seventy-Nine Cents ($514,371.79) under the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program(CEAP) as well as Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($11,454.99) under the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) as awarded by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs(TDHCA) through Contracts #58250004403 and #61250004368; and any other matters incident thereto. This request is made specifically for Fund Accounts #2362-5150-521 (Administration), #2362-5360-521 (Direct Services), and #2368-5170-521 (Social Services). Issue: Year end balances must be carried over to continue providing services to qualified individuals through to the end of the contract term.
Solution: Approve the budget to be carried over to FY 2026.
