Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of the following slot to be funded from the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Elderly Nutrition, and Meals on Wheels grant funds subject to any applicable Civil Service guidelines, effective July 27, 2026; and any other matters incident thereto. This position will be 100% grant funded; and, thus, there will be no impact to the General Fund. [Grant Accounts #2368-5170-521-410000 (CSBG), #2025-5320-521-410000 (Elderly Nutrition), & 2371-5260-521-410000 (Meals on Wheels)]
Issue: Currently, there is a vacant Driver/Custodian position.
Solution: Seek authorization from the Court to post and fill the vacant slot.
Result: The position will be filled and, thus, allow the department to effectively continue to serve the clients and citizens of Webb County.
