Discussion and possible action to accept a monetary donation in the amount of $1,000.00 from the NRG Customer Assistance And Relief for Electricity program (NRG CARE Program), in support of the Webb County Community Action Agency&rsquo Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The Webb County Community Action Agency (CAA) received a donation from the NRG CARE Program.
Solution: The Court’s approval and acceptance of this donation will allow the Webb County CAA to continue to provide direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP Program.
Result: These funds will be available to assist eligible low-income Webb County residents with their NRG affiliate utility bills.
