Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Proposals (RFP's) for a three (3) year Fuel and Lubricant Service Agreement in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; §262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedures for Certain Goods and Services) and any other matters incident thereto. [Multiple Department Fuel Accounts - FY 2026-2027]
 
Issue: The current agreement for fuel and lubricants will expire on 09/30/2026.  The Purchasing Agent is recommending to solicit and secure formal proposals as per the Texas Local Government code under §262.030 with the consent of Commissioners Court in order to obtain best value for both services and price for the delivery of fuel and lubricants to Webb County. 
 
Solution: Consideration and approval to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit an RFP for a term effective 10/1/2026 - 09/30/29.
 
Result: If approved, proceed with the official advertisement of RFP as directed by the Webb County Commissioners Court.
