Discussion and possible action to award Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2026-008 "Paseo De Los Santos Acceleration and Deceleration Lane Project" to the lowest responsible bidder CID Group Inc., for the construction of roadway improvements intended to enhance vehicular safety, improve traffic flow, and provide safer ingress and egress to the Webb County Public Health Facility in an amount not to exceed $197,187.50.  The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, traffic control, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the scope of work in accordance with Webb County specifications and applicable state, local and federal standards, in accordance with Texas Government Code; Subchapter C. Issue: On June the 8th, the Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to publish an invitation to bid in order to secure sealed competitive bids from contractors.  A total of five (5) bids were submitted by deadline; bids ranged from $197,000.00 to $238,800.00.   

Solution: Consideration to award to the lowest responsible bidder, CID Group, Inc. 

Result: If approved, General Counsel will prepare the construction contract between Webb County and CID Group, Inc. for the awarded sum.
