Discussion and possible action to ratify a credit card charge in the amount of $935.28 for the payment of a Twelve (12) month subscription for 3 users to Dropbox utilizing the Webb County credit card; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-1180-001-464005 (Books & Subscriptions)]
Issue: Dropbox is an online subscription-based site, it requires credit card payment. Department is in need of a data sharing system to ensure large files and information are shared with insurance consultants and contracted vendors in a timely and efficient manner.
Solution: To approve the ratification of the onetime emergency use of the County credit card to pay the Dropbox subscription.
Result: Payment of subscription to Dropbox will be able to conduct business in an efficient and timely manner, eliminating disruption to emergency projects.
