Discussion and possible action to approve, by Order, the following budget amendment (line item transfer) within Grant Funds; and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Sheriff Martin Cuellar; GF #2716 (SB 22-Sheriff's Office Rural Law)]
Issue: Now that all SB 22 grant-funded positions have been filled, grant funding anticipated to be left remaining can be utilized for needed safety equipment.
Solution: Request a line item transfer to other eligible budget categories.
Result: Funding will be available to meet other needed law enforcement improvements.
