Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of the following Slot (grant-funded), subject to the availability of payroll funds and any applicable Civil Service guidelines, effective October 28, 2024 for the Veterans Treatment Program:
Issue: A full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) was approved for the new grant cycle of SAMHSA TI087234 for the Veterans Treatment Program.
Solution: Authorize the posting and filling of a new slot number for this position subject to the availability of payroll funds and any applicable Civil Service Guidelines.
Result: The addition of a Full-time LPC will help augment the work for the Webb County Veterans Treatment Program.
