Discussion and possible action to approve a nine-month contract agreement between Webb County Community Action Agency (WCCAA) and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program State Discretionary Funds - Organizational Capacity Improvements (OCI) for PY-2024. CSBG-D Contract No. 61240004328 shall commence on August 01, 2024, and, unless earlier terminated, shall end on May 31, 2025, in the amount of One Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars ($1,428.00); and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund. Documentation has been reviewed by Webb County Economic Development Department and is compliant with SPOC policies and procedures.

Issue: Community Services Block Grant requires entities to complete an Organizational Standards report every year.

Solution: Accept a Grant State Discretionary Funds to procure a consultant to develop an Organizational Standards report.

Result: The support services are intended for Organizational Capacity Improvements (OCI) to assist with meeting Organizational Standards.
