Discussion and possible action to approve and execute 2024-2025 Federal Application 5339-D-2025-WEBB CO-00024 Public Transit Grant by the Webb County Community Action Agency to the Texas Department of Transportation in the amount of TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($289,568.00) and designating the Webb County Judge as authorized official in all matters pertaining to this grant; and any other matters Incident thereto. This grant does not require cash match and will not have an impact on the general fund. All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and was found to be compliant with the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) policy. [Grant Fund #2661]

Issue: Webb County CAA El Aguila Rural transit is a grant-funded agency.

Solution: Through the approval and execution of the grant, it will allow us to purchase buses for our department.

Result: Approval and execution of the grant will ensure continued transit service to the rural areas of Webb County.
