Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for the parking garage renovations for facility located at 1002 Farragut Street pursuant to the Texas Government Code; §2269.151 Contracts for Facilities: Competitive Sealed Proposals and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-1001-3010-001-470000 (General Fund-Sheriff Patrol-Administration-Capital Outlay)]
 
Issue: There is a need to make improvements to the parking garage located at 1002 Farragut St. to include but not limited to improving drainage, to resurface & restripe entire parking garage areas as recommended by Project Architect. 
 
Solution: Consideration to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit formal CSP for this project. 
 
Result: A formal CSP will be advertised once construction documents are 100% completed by Project Architect.
