Subject:
Discussion and possible action to accept Amendment No. 2 for ARPANGO-0010 Casa de Misericordia as requested. In order to fully spend their award of $186,000.00, Casa de Misericordia proposes transferring the remaining funds from the Hotel Stays line item to the Food line item. This adjustment will not affect the General Fund. Documentation has been reviewed by Webb County Economic Development Department and is in compliance with SPOC policies and procedures. Issue: As of October 17, 2024, Casa de Misericordia will no longer be utilizing Motel 59 for shelter accommodation. Casa de Misericordia would like to reallocate the remaining funds from the Hotel Stays budget ($9,937.05) to the Food budget to support ongoing needs.
Solution: Amendment is accepted.
Result: Casa Misericordia will be able to fully spend the $186,000.00 awarded to them via the ARPA NGO Process.
