Discussion and possible action to approve the carryover budget of Eighty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars and Thirty-Six Cents ($86,728.36) under the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program(CEAP) as well as One Hundred One Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-two dollars and eighty-seven cents ($101,282.87) under the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program Emergency Supplemental(CEAP Emergency Supplemental) as awarded by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs(TDHCA) through contracts #58240004040 and #58940004188 to FY25. Request made for fund accounts #2362-5150-521 (Administration), #2362-5360-521 (Direct Services), #2365-5150-521 (Administration), and #2365-5360-521 (Direct Services).
Issue: Year end balances must be carried over to continue providing services to qualified individuals through to the end of the contract term.
Solution: Approve the budget to be carried over to FY 2025.
