Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to seek Request for Proposals for Property and Casualty Insurance and Third Party Administrative (TPA) services in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedures for Certain Goods and Services) (d) and any other matters incident thereto.
 
Issue: RWL Group, Consultant for Webb County is working with Risk Management and the Purchasing Agent to prepare a comprehensive scope of services for the formal solicitation of Property and Casualty Insurance and TPA services.  Current Property and Casualty insurance coverage is scheduled to expire on September 30, 2025.
 
Solution: Consideration to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit competitive sealed proposals for Property/Casualty Insurance and TPA services for Webb County.
 
Result: With the consent of the Webb County Commissioners Court, the formal advertising of the requested services will be posted by the Purchasing Agent after the County's Consultant and Webb County's Risk Management team finalize the scope of services, fee bid schedule and minimum qualification requirements.
