Discussion and possible action to approve a 12-month agreement (FY2 effective October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025) between Webb County for the benefit of the Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program and Serving Children and Adults in Need (SCAN, inc) in the amount not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00). SCAN, inc will provide substance abuse and treatment counseling for DWI Court participants; as listed and approved on the grant application through U. S. Department of Health & Human Services SAMHSA and authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2356-2070- 003-457008-025]

Solution: Effectively service area offenders through substance abuse counseling, mental health and other resources provided by the court with SCAN, inc partnership.

Result: Obtaining the services by SCAN, inc is a key component of grant requirements.

Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court has been operational since 2015 and has had a
partnership with SCAN, inc since. Currently operating a U. S. HHS SAMHSA grant operational for five years 2023-2028.
