Discussion and possible action to accept a declaration of public purpose, pursuant to the Texas Constitution, Art. 3 Sec. 52, for the purchase of promotional items to include: drawstring backpacks, notepads, crayons, highlighters, paper, and notebooks. These items will be used to inform, educate, and report information to our constituents on aspects dealing with public safety and education.

Issue: Many families face financial burdens in preparing for back-to-school season. Providing free school supplies helps alleviate this stress, allowing families to allocate their resources to other needs such as food and healthcare.

Solution: Authorization by the Commissioners Court is necessary to purchase school supplies, ensuring students have the essential tools to start the school year. 

Result: Access to essential school supplies promotes a sense of belonging and equality among students, ensuring that all children start the school year on the right foot regardless of their financial background.
