Discussion and possible action to enter into a three-year (October 1, 2025, through October 1, 2028) Claims Services Agreement with USI Southwest, Inc. to serve as Webb County’s Broker of Record with respect to the following lines of insurance coverages: (1) General Liability, (2) Auto Liability, (3) Auto Physical Damage, Public Officials Liability, (4) Employment Practices Liability, (5) Law Enforcement Liability, (6) Sexual Abuse & Molestation Liability, (7) Excess Liability, (8) Property Insurance, (9) Equipment Breakdown Insurance, (10) Kidnap & Ransom, (11) Educators Legal Liability (12) Terrorism & Sabotage, (13) Cyber Liability, (14) Inland Marine, (15) Aviation Hull & Liability, (16) Crime, (17) Historical Building Property Insurance, and (18) Excess Workers’ Compensation, where the Broker of Record is compensated from payment from commissions received from insurance companies based on a percentage of the premium paid by Webb County for the policy, authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents, and any other matters incident thereto. [No fiscal Impact to Webb County]
 
Issue: At its February 10, 2025, meeting, the Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the advertisement for Request for Proposals for a Broker of Record for Webb County for all Property and Casualty insurance coverage except for pollution liability. 
 
Solution: At its September 8, 2025, meeting, the Webb County Commissioners Court awarded its Broker of Records solicitation to USI Southwest, Inc.

Result: USI Southwest will be providing Broker of Record Services with respect to Webb County’s Property and Casualty Insurance Coverage.
