Discussion and possible action to approve the use of the contingency allowance as stipulated under §4.3 (allowances) under the construction agreement between Webb County and Midas Contractors LLC., in an amount not to exceed $29,605.00 for the design of a new parking lot for ARPA Project No. 0008 – Community Action Agency Administration, Social Services and Meals on Wheels Facility Project and to further authorize the Webb County Judge to sign any relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Administration is requesting additional parking for clients, closer to the CAA offices.
Solution: Consideration to authorize the use of $29,605.00 from the owner's contingency allowance funds.
Result: If approved, the Contractor will be authorized to use the owner's contingency amount as approved by Commissioners Court. There will be no increase or decrease to the original contract sum.
