Discussion and possible action to enter into Amendment #1 to the Consulting Services Agreement with McWilliams Governmental Affairs Consultants, Inc. (January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026) extending the term of the agreement through the 31st day of December 2027 and increasing the monthly sum to $10,000 for additional Consultant support in federal efforts and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. Issue: McWilliams Governmental Affairs Consultants, Inc. is currently providing Webb County with consulting services for all State and Administrative legislative matters as it relates to our Texas Senators and House of Representatives’ legislative efforts in Austin. 
 
Solution: Request is being made to amend their current agreement with Webb County to include consulting services with our federal legislators and agenda items that are pertinent to Webb County in Washington D.C.
 
Result: Amending the current consulting agreement with McWilliams Governmental Affairs Consultants, Inc. will ensure effective county representation for all State and Federal legislative matters.
