Discussion and possible action to approve a grant amendment in the amount of ELEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($11,770.00) for the FY 2024 Federal Grant Webb CO- 00072 from the Texas Department of Transportation, designating the Webb County Judge as the authorized official; and, any matters incident thereto. No impact to the General Fund. All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department, and the solicitation is complaint with Webb County (SPOC) Single Point of Contact procedures. [Grant Fund #2661]
Issue: Webb County CAA El Aguila Rural Public Transit is an agency whose services are primarily funded through the utilization of state and federal grants.
Solution: The approval by the Webb County Commissioner’s Court to amend the Federal 5311 grant monies will allow El Aguila Rural Transit to receive the funds.
Result: Approval of the contract amendment will ensure continuation of transportation services to serve the residents living in the rural areas of Webb County.
