Discussion and possible action to accept Nationwide’s partner, Actuarial Systems Corporation (ASC), to assist in drafting plan documents for the County’s 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan, authorizing the Webb County Judge to sign any documents and any other matters relevant thereto.
Issue: Webb County’s current enhancement Fidelity Information Service plan documents are no longer sponsored by Nationwide for its 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan.
Solution: Nationwide has selected a new partner, Actuarial Systems Corporation, to assist in drafting plan documents for retirement plans. The changes have been reviewed by Webb County’s retirement consultant and align with the current plan administration.
Result: Webb County’s Nationwide-Sponsored 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan can continue to be supported with ASC’s assistance in drafting plan documents.
