Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of sixty-one (61) Rifle Resistance Body Armor Vests - Level III with side and gap stop panels from Galls LLC., (Buy Board #773-25) to be utilized by the Webb County Sheriff’s Office, Webb County Constable Office’s Precincts 3 and 4, Webb County Attorney’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office in an amount not to exceed $146,667.00 pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code; Sections 271.101, 271.102, Sub-Chapter F. Issue: Funding from the Rifle Resistant Body Armor Grant Program for FY 2026 (Grant No. 4703802) was awarded to Webb County for the purchase of Rifle Resistant body armor for Webb County law enforcement Officers. 
 
Solution: Consideration to authorize the Purchasing Agent to order the grant funded equipment for law enforcement use.  Galls LLC., meets all requirements and delivery expectations and is an established vendor with State-approved cooperative contracts. 
 
Result: Proceed with the order and meet grant deadlines for completion of the approved purchase under the Rifle Resistant Body Armored Grant Program for FY2026.  The approximate delivery is 60 days from the date ordered and sizing.
