Discussion and possible action requesting authorization from the Commissioners Court for the Webb County Sheriff’s Department to fully occupy the recently completed Sheriff’s Administration Building located at 1002 Farragut Street; and any other matters incident thereto.
 
Issue: The Finance Division, ID/Records Training, and Mental Health Divisions are currently operating from 902 Victoria Street, while 1002 Farragut Street has partial occupancy. Full occupancy of 1002 Farragut is necessary to consolidate operations and improve efficiency.
 
Solution: Seek permission from the Commissioners Court to fully occupy 1002 Farragut Street pending a future grand opening to be scheduled by the Commissioners Court.
 
Result: Achieving full occupancy at 1002 Farragut Street will streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
