Discussion and possible action to enter into a one (1) year (September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027) lease extension by amending the Interlocal Agreement between the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Webb County regarding the storage of Parks and Wildlife Patrol Boats at the Lake Casa Blanca Storage Facility at a monthly rate of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for a total storage rate of Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($2,400.00) over the term of the lease extension, authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Webb County has been renting lease storage space for patrol boats used by Texas State Park Game Wardens to patrol Lake Casa Blanca since 2019.
 
Solution: Enter into an agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to allow Game Wardens to enforce state laws at Lake Casa Blanca International State Park.
 
Result: Allow Game Wardens to use patrol boats to enforce state laws at Lake Casa Blanca International State Park.

On August 1, 2024, a two-year agreement was entered into pursuant to Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code. Said Interlocal Agreement provided for a two-year term which allows the Agreement to be modified and extended.
