Discussion and possible action to accept the FY 2024 – 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) prepared by the County Auditor’s Office for Webb County as presented to the County Audit Committee and audited by Cascos and Associates, PC.

Texas Local Government Code Chapter 115. Audit of County Finances requires an annual audit of all County funds to be conducted by an independent certified public accounting firm. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) was audited according to federal guidelines for Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards and Texas Grant Management Standards (TxGMS) for State Awards, which dictate standards for non-Federal entities.   The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report was forwarded to the Government Finance Officers Association for grading for the Certificate of Achievement of Excellence in Financial Reporting.
