Discussion and possible action to approve the Closeout and release of retainage, in the amount of $106,294.56 to Anderson Columbia for the Las Loma Road Project; and have the County Judge sign any relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.  [Account #1001-206000 (Retainage Payable)]
 
Issue: The Las Lomas Road Project addressed the dire condition of the streets which made it difficult for school buses to pick up children, and prevented ambulances and law enforcement from accessing the colonias.
 
Solution: This paving project— involved regrading, compaction and pavement of approximately 2.3 miles of the area—is specifically designed to prevent major flooding during heavy rains. 

Result: Ensure smooth, reliable access for emergency responders and residents. The Las Lomas Paving Road Project is the last project from the 2020 County Transportation Infrastructure Fund Grant Program (CTIF). This project will provide the county savings totaling $66,224.00.
