Discussion and possible action to approve the closeout and release of retainage in the amount of $289,642.71 to Anderson Columbia Co., Inc., for the completion of ARPA Project No. 0025 El Pico Road Project; and have the County Judge sign any relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The project consisted of the overlay of a 2,640 LF of 2” thick asphalt-paved road varying from 24 ft back to back. The work included paving, backfilling, and all appurtenances and all incidental.
Solution: Approval of closeout and release of retainage. The improvements included shaving the road to level uneven terrain and paving of the road with cement. There is a balance/savings of $84,065.77 for this project.
Result: Completion of project. This project aims to bring much needed road maintenance, utilities and draining to help improve transportation for residents in the area of the Mines Road.
