Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the new Agreement with Tyler Technologies for Brazos Software and Hardware for JP3, JP4 and Patrol Departments.
Background
This was requested by Richard Semple, IT Director II for the IT Department; This new Agreement is for Brazos Software and Hardware is on the NJPA COOP. The hardware is handheld ticket writers. The officers in the field will use these devices to create electronic tickets, and then the tickets generated will be electronically sent to the JP offices using the Brazos Software. Currently they are hand writing and typing everything into the system. This hardware and software will eliminate that process, saving time for the Departments involved. The investment for this software, products and services to be delivered by Tyler Technologies is $58,535.00. Please see Exhibit A in the Agreement for a breakdown of the costs.
