Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to approve the Official Bond and Oath of Office for the newly elected Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector, Larry Gaddes.
Background
Per Texas Property Tax Code Section 6.28 Bonds for State and County Taxes states: "(a). Before beginning to perform the duties of office, a person elected or appointed as county assessor/collector must give bonds to the state and to the county, conditioned on the faithful performance of the person's duties as assessor/collector." The bond has been assigned and are submitted as fulfillment of that statute.
