Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the service agreement with MTech to remove and replace the old east boiler at the Jail facility, with six tankless water heaters for a quoted price of $56,800.00. MTech cooperative contract TIPS #1032615, valid through 3/26/2018.
Background
The old boilers at the jail facility have continued to have problems, resulting in the continued failure of the unit and expenditures to make repairs. To ensure compliance with all jail standards, replacing the old boiler with new more efficient tankless water heaters is needed.
