Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge addiitional expenditures for the District Attorney's Office:

The state legislature passed House Bill 9.  The bill became effective September 1, 2015.  The bill raises the employee's retirement contribution for the next biennium.  The state has required the County to pay for the additional retirement contribution for the District Attorney.  However, the state is providing the supplemental funds to offset related expenditures.  This budget amendment is to recognize the FY 2018 revenues and expenditures related to the increase.
