Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $921.34 for Pearson Ranch Road Extension, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Pct. 1.
Background
This Change Order revises the method of pavement marking elimination and also documents quantity changes for various bid items. The original plans identify the application of a seal coat to cover up the existing pavement markings as the method for elimination. This method was changed to a mechanical method (flailing), in order to remove the markings on existing pavement. This Change Order documents changes plan quantities for various pay items, including the “Prep ROW”, “Removing Curb and Gutter” and “Construction Exits” items.
