Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to approve cancelation of services contract and pay termination agreement with Hart Information Services for humidity & temperature controlled storage for the County Clerk's microfilm (Note: future services to be obtained from Texas State Library under contract previously approved for imaging services on 8/22/17, agenda item #33).

Background

Contract has been signed for the Texas State Library to store our film at half the cost of Iron Mountain for more rolls of microfilm to be stored so we need to cancel this contract. Only confusing part is the start date but the contract does say 90 days. They say we owe for the rest of the year. Cost to pull our boxes and take them off their computer system is $500, Administration fee for (not) billing us is $75 and the three months storage equals $1556.73 for a total of $2674. The State Library has waived three months billing and the fee to insert the microfilm rolls into their cabinets. Money is in budget to pay the termination invoice.
