Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a Resolution Authorizing County Grant in relation to the Texas Department of Agriculture Texans Feeding Texans: Home Delivered Meal Grant Program.

The proposed resolution will certify that the county will make a grant of $45,000.00 to Williamson Burnet County Opportunity, Inc. to be used by such organization during October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018 to provide meals to homebound elderly or disabled persons.  The resolution also certifies that the county has approved Williamson Burnet County Opportunity, Inc's accounting system in relation to the grant requirements.  The county has participated in this same grant in the prior years.   The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved $45,000.00 funding to Williamson Burnet County Opportunity Inc. Senior Nutrition program within the FY' 18 adopted budget.

The Texans Feeding Texans Home-Delivered Meal Grant Program was established to help supplement and extend the applicants current home-delivered meal program for seniors and/or disabled Texans.
