Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP# 1707-176, Interpretive Center Planning & Exhibit Design for the River Ranch County Park to Erin McClelland Museum Services and authorizing execution of the service contract.

The Purchasing Department solicited proposals for interpretive planning and exhibit design at the River Ranch County Park. The RFP was viewed by sixty-two (62) firms. Four (4) proposals were received and evaluated by an evaluation committee. From the initial four (4) proposals, two (2) were determined qualified for interviews. After interviewing the two (2) finalists, the decision was made by the committee to enter into contract negotiations with Erin McClelland, who is recommended for contract award. The awarded contract has a total value of $249,445.00 of which $193,305.00 will be paid from grant funds with the remaining $56,140.00 to be paid from non-grant funded sources.
