Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the temporary use of the lowest level of the parking garage by the Sheriff's Office. The anticipated time period is not anticipated to exceed six months.
Background
The Sheriff’s Office has requested to temporarily store their boats and associated equipment In the lowest level of the parking garage until their facilities at the North Campus can be completed. This will allow for improved storage conditions to protect the equipment from the weather. The storage period is not anticipated to exceed six months. This request has been coordinated with and has the support of the Facilities Division.
