Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the ban of the sale of fireworks that contain sticks and fins during the New Year's fireworks sales period.
Background
Williamson County continues to experience drying conditions that are favorable for the uncontrolled spread of wildfire. The use of fireworks that contain "Sticks or Fins" can contribute to the unintentional ignition of wildfires. Texas County's have the authority to ban said fireworks if the Keetch-Byrum Drought Index has reached an average of 575 prior to the 15th day of December.
