Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Taylor and Williamson County relating to the provision of fire and police services and 911 Emergency Communications Coordination for the Valero Corporation Fuel Distribution Terminal Facility that is to be located in the City of Taylor’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.

Background

The City of Taylor will provide both fire and police services for the ?Valero Corporation Fuel Distribution Terminal Facility that is to be located in the City of Taylor’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.  This agreement is necessary in order to set out the parties agreements and understandings as to the provision of such services, as well as to provide for coordination of 911 Emergency Communications dispatching services.  The Williamson County Sheriff's Office, Williamson County Emergency Medical Services Department and the Williamson County  911 Emergency Communications Department have approved of the terms and conditions of the agreement.
